Navajo National Monument preserves three of the most intact cliff dwellings of the ancestral Puebloan people (Hisatsinom). The Navajo people who live here today call these ancient ones Anasazi. The last image in a set of five taken from my apartment in Boerum Hill, Brooklyn, all were taken during the first two months of 2011.

This particular one was taken after the sun had set and left me with a silhouette of buildings and bare trees against the colorful evening sky.

The fourth image in a set of five taken from my apartment in Boerum Hill, Brooklyn. Like most people in the city who live high up and face south, southwest we have great sunsets and this is just one at the start of the year that I managed to capture.

Hotel Bossert – Brooklyn Heights , The Bossert was once known as The Waldorf-Astoria of Brooklyn. It was the site of the celebration of the Brooklyn Dodgers‘ only World Series championship.

Singapore’s colorful buildings are everywhere and brighten the place up, not that it needs it. I took this in 2009 on the corner of Queens Street and Ophir Road of what is the Rochor Centre.
